No posts for a while, as things have been put on hold by moving and the pandemic. I scanned some old files the other day, taken in temples in 2015. These are a selection of the more interesting ones, some of which I have considered before, some of which I just disregarded.
It’s always worth going back through the old negative sleeves, one often finds photos that were ignored the first time around, and seem to have more worth on reappraisal.
Some of these were taken using a vintage Leica 35mm Summaron 2.8. They should be pretty obvious.

It’s always interesting how human features give you a character you might not desire, being the bearer of them. I haven’t commented on anyone in particular in these pics, or have I? But I do feel someone in particular has overt power. Keep snapping! These discarded or under appreciated finds are always interesting. How’s that for bookends?! You might have to read this three times.

I always find black-and-white shots interesting because it all comes down to light and shadow. There are some beautiful faces that have a spiritual glow in this collection.
I hope you’re enjoying your new location and things are settling after the move 😊
