Two pictures from Taipei’s Daan Park in Oct. 2020; the first owes much to a 35mm colour photo by Vivian Maier: I was referencing it as I took it. I have problems with the X-pro 1; I think the trick is not to overexpose. The sensor falls apart when you do that.

Very fine compositions! The over-exposure works for me, as I understand the searing heat in Taiwan, and the respite a tree-filled park, not to mention a bench- can give during the day.
Branches can be tricky in two dimensions, and often lead to ruined shots. Not here. More please!

It’s more the difficulty in processing those files if they’re over-exposed. I don’t much like the look.

😂 I liked the pattern the leaf shadows left on the butt! Reading on a park bench is captured perfectly so good job developing it!
